Arysta LifeScience Announces Winner of Bay Hill Original Painting

CARY, N.C. (April 1, 2011) – Arysta LifeScience awarded an original painting of hole 17 on Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club and Lodge to Kurt Sams, of Idlewild Country Club in Flossmoor, Ill. Sams was selected from those who participated in the Arysta LifeScience booth drawing at the Golf Industry Show (GIS). He was presented with the painting earlier this month.

Arysta LifeScience plans to continue the promotion and will commission an artist to create original artwork of a well-known course in each city in which GIS is held. This year’s painting, completed by legendary artist Bart Forbes, celebrates the 50^th anniversary of Bay Hill. Forbes has completed theme paintings for a variety of PGA and Seniors’ tournaments. His work has appeared in countless magazines, including Sports Illustrated and TIME.
